What polyaspartic actually is
Polyaspartic is a two-component aliphatic polyurea. It cures by chemical reaction (not solvent evaporation), which means thick films cure as fast as thin ones. The aliphatic chemistry makes it UV-stable — it won't yellow in sunlight the way epoxy does — and the cured film is tougher and more flexible than epoxy under impact.
- 100% UV-stable — no ambering in sunlight
- Walk-on in 1–2 hours, drive-on in 24 hours
- Higher abrasion and impact resistance than epoxy
- Flexible — handles substrate movement without cracking
- Low-VOC, low-odor — safe for occupied spaces
